I'm living in Toronto now but grew up in Windsor, so can't say I've been to Phog. Sounds like a place to get Vietnamese soup! :) I was in Windsor this weekend and try to get over to Detroit as often as I can. I am a big fan of all things SE Michigan. Really! My current obsession is the Michigan Central Station. I photographed it last summer and got a book on Detroit architecture which had a (disappointingly short) writeup on it.
